The annual Dormition Pilgrimage in Sloatsburg, NY will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 9-10, 2008.

Run annually by the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate (SSMI), the pilgrimage usually attracts some 4,000 pilgrims. This is the largest annual religious gathering of Ukrainian Catholics in the US. On the main day, Sunday August 10, a Pontifical Divine Liturgy will be concelebrated by our bishops at 10 AM.

There is also an annual supervised youth camp out on Saturday evening, August 9.

Sloatsburg is just over an hour from the Perth Amboy area. Plan to attend, they have wonderful facilities and it's a nice family day out.
