On Wendesday, November 25, 2009, Assumption Catholic School, (ACS) held a Thanksgiving Feast for the student body, senior's from our parish, and invited guests which this year included Perth Amboy Mayor, Wilda Diaz.
 
The Feast was prepared by Mrs. Derevenska, teachers, volunteer parents, and students from the upper grades. The menu included turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, creamed corn, cornbread, cranberry sauce, apple cider, coffee, and a choice of pumpkin, apple, or chocolate cream pie.
 
Entertainment was provided by students from the Perth Amboy High School Choir, who sang several songs; followed by the ACS seventh grade students who performed a "Top Hat" sketch.
