Assumption Catholic School (ACS) has been educating students since 1963 in our well-maintained building on beautifully landscaped grounds.
Our parish founded and runs the school because we believe that a Catholic school education is an investment in a child’s future. Children that learn morals early and have a challenging and comprehensive course of studies in the primary grades establish a foundation that prepares them for success in high school, college, and life.
ACS is staffed by the Missionary Sisters of the Mother of God and lay teachers. Our students come from Perth Amboy as well as from surrounding communities.
ACS’s academic and non-academic activities develop poise, public speaking skills, and leadership qualities – all designed to build the child’s self-confidence. Educators know that a confident child will tend to be a happy and successful child and adult. Thus, our school’s promise is: “Building confident, happy, and successful children.”
