Parish membership and sponsorship

Parish membership
If you are attending liturgies but are not a registered parishioner, contact the rectory to become a member of our parish family.
All adult parishioners should have donation envelopes, except for those who are housebound due to health reasons.

Basic church dues are $24 per year per adult.

Parish membership is necessary in order to be a sponsor for a baptism, confirmation, or wedding.

Eligibility for Sponsorship
Those who are not registered or do not attend church on a regular basis are not eligible to be sponsors for baptism and confirmation, etc.

The requirements for a sponsor are as follows: Sponsor must be 16 years of age or older. Sponsor must have received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. If married, the marriage must be recognized by the Catholic Church.

A sponsor would have to be able to make the following declaration:

I affirm that I am a practicing member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite. I have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. I am faithful in the attendance of Sunday Liturgy and receive the Sacraments. I seek to live the demands of the Gospel each day by witnessing to Christ by word and example.
