The Ekumen Chorale will perform a special 100-year Jubilee concert at our church on April 27, 2008 at 3:30 PM. The Ekumen Chorale is a unique and exciting choir from northeastern Pennsylvania that specializes in the sacred music of Eastern Europe.

Five parish school graduates have roles in the musical, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" with the St. Joseph High School Theatre Company. This classic comedy is a hilarious farce set in ancient Rome.

The actors are: all three Castro sisters! – Rebecca, Jessica, and Marisa; Jacqueline Somogyi, and Alexander Mosko, who plays the lead character, Pseudolus. Alas, this is the last time to see parishioners Rebecca and Alexander in a high school production!

Evening performances are: March 27, 28, 29 and April 3, 4, and 5 at 7:30 PM. Sunday matinee's are March 30 and April 6 at 3 PM. The St. Joseph Theatre is behind the main school building at 145 Plainfield Ave., Metuchen, NJ. Tickets are available at the door.

If you know of a youth's achievement, such as: making the Dean's list, a sports honor, performances, acceptance into societies, teams, or groups, founding a business, military service, community service, ethnic activities, or high school or college graduation, please send the name, achievement, and a bit of background to the rectory e mail.

The annual Gift Auction sponsored by St. Anne's Society will be held on Sunday, March 9. Doors open at 12:00 noon and the Auction starts at 2:00 p.m. There will be lots of gift baskets, super and grand prizes. The Wii system is a featured prize! Coffee and cake provided. Kitchen will be open for lunch. Donation is $5.00.…

We are looking for parishioner reminiscence stories for the 100-year Jubilee Book. If you or a group would like to write a story, please call the church office right away with your proposal. We need these to be written in the next month. We want to hear your stories!

The Holy Name Society will have its annual Lenten Fish Dinner featuring broiled fish, pyrohy, borscht, balchicki, haluski, beverages, and dessert on the new date – Saturday, March 1 from 4 to 7 PM.

Price is $9.00 for adults and $2.00 for children.

Family Pages in the 100-year Jubilee Parish History Book will soon be offered to parishioners. Family Pages were done for our tremendously successful 75-year Jubilee book. Those that did a page are grateful now. Those that did not, wish they had!

Fellow parishioners, this is literally a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have your family featured in the 100-year Jubilee parish history book. A book like this will not be done again for a long time.

Start planning now with your relatives and dig up some old photos. Please inform any former parishioners that have moved away.

The Ukrainian Senior Citizens are sponsoring a 100-year Jubilee brunch with a special guest speaker. It will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 11:30 AM in the church hall. The program, “Preparation for Lent” will be by Fr. William Rakowicz from Loyola House of Retreats, Morristown, NJ. Confessions also will be available.

Our parish Choir "Boyan" is offering a CD featuring seventeen classic Ukrainian Christmas carols. This rare Choir "Boyan"recording, performed with the St. Vladimir choir from Elizabeth, NJ, was made in 1978 under the direction of Professor Lewycky.

CD's are available at Coffee Hour or from a choir member. Price is only $6 each.
