Official Opening Ceremony for The Shroud Of Turin Exhibit

An opening ceremony along with a vespers service was held for The Shroud Of Turin Exhibit at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate
Conception in Philadelphia on the First Sunday of the Great Fast, February 21, 2010 at 5 PM with Archbishop Soroka and dignitaries presiding.

Clergy and parishioners were invited to join in this celebration and to have representatives bring crosses, icons, or plaschanytsias from their
parishes for the opening Procession on the Sunday of Orthodoxy.

Representatives from our parish carried our church's plaschanystsia during the opening procession inside the Cathedral. Several other
of our parishioners were also there in attendance partaking in this special ceremony.
