Виставка в Музею Біблійного Мистецтва, 1865 Broadway (at 61st St.) NYC.
 
Виставка включає 60 ікон, між ними одну з найбільше рідких що існує, та інших прикладів нашого духовного мистецтва котрі рідко є доступні до оглядання публікою. Особливо виставлені є предмети із Києво-Печерської Лаври та з Львівського Народнього Музею. Виставка триватиме до 12-го вересня ц.р.

Sixty icons, including one of the rarest Ukrainian icons in existence, and other objects seldom seen by the outside world are on display through Sept.12, 2010. Featured are items from the Kyiv-Pecherskaya Lavra (Monastery of the Caves), and the Lviv National Museum.…

Work is currently underway on a major project necessary for our parish school. A very generous donation has made it possible to enter into this project.
 
The original 1963 windows are in the process of being replaced with new energy efficient types. All the windows will be replaced except for the tall auditorium windows facing Jacques Street which were replaced in 1998. The parish hopes to reduce our high heating and cooling bills. Not only will the new windows increase energy efficiency, the handsome tan panels will provide an updated look to the school exterior.
 
Please consider making a special donation to help cover the maintenance costs that come with operating a parish school.

May they find support and encouragement in our words and in our prayers, through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God, and all the Saints.

Beginning Sunday, September 5, 2010, the regular Sunday liturgy schedule will be 9 AM (Ukrainian) and 11:30 AM (English).
 
Having the second liturgy one half hour later will give more time between liturgies for the priest to hear confessions, and will help with the parking around the church.

The Royal Garden Club By The Bay announced on Friday, August 20, the winners of the 2010 Perth Amboy Beautification Awards for non-residential properties.
 
These awards are presented annually to non-residential properties that show good landscape design, have flowers, and are well-tended.
 
Once again, our parish with its beautifully landscaped property continues to receive this award as it has for many years already.…

Свобода і демократія високо цінуються в Сполучених Штатах. Ми користуємося та живемо ними. Ми також прагнемо їх для всіх у світі. Сьогодні ми спостерігаємо як під загрозу ставляться досягнення свободи та демократії в Україні.
 
Відзначення 19-тої річниці проголошення Незалежности України закликає нас зробити все можливе, щоб упевнитися що Україна є незалежна, а українці користуються свободами і привілеями демократії, яких ми всі сподіваємося.
 
Просім нашого щедрого й милосердного Бога надихнути всіх українців на досягнення миру, взаємної любови та поваги, прагнення святку-вати життя в Господі.

Freedom and democracy are highly valued in the United States of America. We also desire it for all the world. Today, there are signals that genuine freedoms and democracy are at risk again in Ukraine.
 
The commemoration of Ukraine’s independence calls us to pray for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, that Ukrainians enjoy the freedoms and privileges of democracy that we all expect.
 
Ask our generous and merciful God to inspire Ukrainians to strive for peace, mutual love and respect, and with the desire to celebrate life in God.…

St. Stephen Ukrainian Catholic Church located at 1344 White Oak Bottom Road, Toms River, NJ will hold the 3rd Annual Ukrainian Festival between 12 noon and 7 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
 
The Festival will feature Ukrainian food, varenyky, kovbasa, cabbage rolls, Ukrainian beer; live music by "SHEREMOSH BAND"; dancing; vendors; kids’ fun and a 50/50 drawing.
